Opening in 2023, Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.
Assistant Operations Support Manager
To ensure a smooth and efficient operation in the Operations Department in relation to the Company Core Process; thus directly impacting the opening of the Leisure Facility, delivering the experience and closing the Leisure Facility.
This position assists the Attractions Operations Manager and Support Manager to ensure the Rides and Attraction Department runs safely and efficiently. Ensures the junior management team runs the team effectively and all training and customer service is delivered at a high standard.

What you will be doing:
Takes personal ownership for Guest/Customer issues and ensures follow through
Checks own output or that of others to ensure quality standards are met and encourages others to meet high quality standards of work
Adopts a proactive approach rather than just reacting to events
Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management
Prioritizes tasks and projects according to their relative urgency and importance
To attend training and development programs in order to promote personal and career growth.

To help achieve Department and Company objectives, action plans and key performance indicators
To manage emergency situations that may arise in order to minimize possible damage, loss or injury to any Guests, Hearties or Company property.
To schedule, break and if required, rotate Hearties fairly in order to increase productivity and maintain their well-being.
To listen actively and respond to Guest feedback in order to continuously improve and exceed Guest expectations.
To enforce Leisure Facility rules and provide crowd control in a friendly manner throughout the areas as necessary in order to ensure the Guest`s safety and an enjoyable experience.
Provide assistance for exclusive use events when needed, and to assist in the preparations of facilities for special functions, themed evenings, etc. in order to contribute to the success of the Company.
To ensure actual expenses do not exceed the Department budget in order to increase profit.
To maintain building, facilities, equipment, and supplies in order to minimize damage, reduce waste and control costs.
To actively seek and implement cost saving programs in order to provide positive financial results.
Your experience and skills include:
High School / College diploma or equivalent qualifications
Minimum of 3-4 years of similar experience
Familiar with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and capable of creating visually compelling presentations
Experience of working Leisure and Hospitality
