It is an amusement park located on Lake Erie, Peninsula in Sandusky Ohio. It is considered the second-oldest amusement park in the United States. Its operating season runs from early May until September. It then reopens only on weekends through Halloween holding events such as Hallo Weekends. The facility also has a white-sand beach, an outdoor water park called Cedar Point Shores, an indoor water park called Castaway Bay, two marinas, an outdoor sports complex called Cedar Point Sports Center, and several nearby resorts. Open May-Oct in Sandusky, Ohio, Cedar Point is home to 70 amazing rides such as 18 world-class roller coasters, like the signature Millennium Force giga-coaster, the breathtaking 120-mph Top Thrill Dragster, and Steel Vengeance.
