This is a crater lake in south-central Oregon in the Western United States. It is famous for its deep blue color and water clarity. The lake is the deepest in the United States. There are various recreational activities that can be done there including hiking, biking, snowshoeing, fishing, and cross-country skiing. Campgrounds and lodges are open to visitors during summer. The water in the lake comes directly from snow or rain and it has no inlet from other water sources hence the water is usually very cold. Visitors are allowed to swim in specific areas.
