This is the largest county in Kenya by land area and is found in the former Rift Valley Province of Kenya. Its capital is Lodwar. Some of the major attractions are Lake Turkana, Great Rift Valley, Desert Museum, Eliye Springs, Mount Kulal Biosphere, Lake Elementaita, and others. Lake Turkana area has stunning scenery during peak months which are April and November after the rains.
