As we embark on an incredible decade of growth and transformation, we seek an experienced and dynamic Executive Assistant Manager to take charge of our operations.
A bit about the role:
As the Executive Assistant Manager, your key responsibilities will include coordinating with the Head of Rooms, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Reservation, and Engineering departments to ensure seamless operations and effective coordination. You will implement departmental strategies and action plans aligned with our property’s strategic and sales objectives. Collaborating with the General Manager, Directors of Sales, Marketing, and Revenue leaders, you will play a pivotal role in planning the yearly revenue target. Regularly updating the General Manager on operational achievements and key issues will be an essential part of your role.
If you worked here this past month, here are some things you might have been involved in:
Coordinated logistics for a whole resort buyout for conferencing, events and accommodation, ensuring a seamless experience for 900 guests.
Led and motivated a talented team of 300 members, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
Managed unique aspects of the resort, including resort activities where guests can utilise the lagoon area using stand up paddle boards and canoes.
With competition grade grounds on site, we hold sporting affiliations with leading teams from ALF and NRL, including camps for international sporting teams.
Maintained and supervised all Food and Beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, deli, banquet and events.
Collaborated closely with the Sunshine Coast Tourism entities, fostering partnerships to promote the hotel and the region.
Catered to the needs of families during the school holidays, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay for all.

Your ability to understand and navigate complex environments will be highly valued, as well as your awareness of emerging trends in the industry.
To excel in this role, it is crucial to showcase your proficiency in coaching, mentoring, developing, and motivating teams, while also possessing the strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building and networking abilities.
