JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Chef, the Steward’s primary responsibility is to operate the dishwashing machine. The Steward/dishwasher is responsible for cleaning duties as well as helping the cooks with the kitchen prep as directed.

YOUR ROLE
Basic prep of food items for service
Keep the dishwashing area organized, tidy and clean
Set up the dishwashing area and operate the dishwashing machine
Regularly clean the machines
Manual dishwashing
Keep the outside area clean, free of litter and swept if necessary
Keep the garbage containers emptied and cleaned
Take garbage bags/receptacles to the garbage room
Assist were needed
YOUR PROFILE
Available on weekends
Able to work with a team and independently
Professional, enthusiastic, energetic
Attention to detail
Able to work and communicate well within the team
Able to work under pressure
Able to lift up to 50lb, reach, bend, push and stoop
Able to work in a standing position for up to 5 hours
