Come aboard and support the dispatch team of SWISS Technics. A multinational team will perform the worldwide shipping and receiving of technical aircraft spare parts. This job opportunity provides an exciting challenge in an intresting working environment within the aviation industry.

Tasks

In this role you will be part of the dispatch team of SWISS Technics located at Zurich Airport who is responsible for manging the inbound and outbound logistics in a team working shift. (Mo-Su. 06:00 – 23:30)

Perform and be responsible for the import- & export customs clearances for technical Aircraft material
Tender, organize, book and follow-up on shipments with Airlines and freight forwarding companies in accordance with the applicable procedures and SOP’s
Inspect- and pack Material, prepare documents in accordance to the valid rules and regulations for Air, Road- and Seafreight
Update relevant shipment status information in the System
Pick-up and deliver Material to the freight department and escort trucks to and from the gates

Requirements

Education as freight forwarder, customs expert or logistics specialist
Experience in logistics and supply chain (preferably in the aviation industry)
Willingness to work shift (early, late and weekend)
MS Office knowledge
Driving license Cat. B
Valid forklift license, AMOS knowledge and Dangerous goods education is an advantage
Fluent (written & spoken) in German and English
