Who we are

What you’ll be doing –

The primary role of finance analyst is to interpret financial and non-financial data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. This including to provide support to GSC Finance activities and liaise with multiple stakeholders across various department. This role requires the ability to manage & explain large amounts of information in a simple, organized manner. They should have strong math skills and business acumen, interpret data, and be curious. Continuous Improvement (CI) culture is the drive of the team, hence, the role will have the opportunity to participate in CI project and transformation agenda. GSC will support the career progression of the finance specialist through engaging & providing support in self-development and opportunity to explore various business or counterpart project that available on the site.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in monthly dashboard preparation and provide analysis on monthly movement of each division KPI
Prepare and continue maintain reporting platform to ensure data and analysis updated in a timely manner
Develop and publish KPI dashboard in GSC SharePoint
Prepare various ad hoc financial analyses as required from time to time to support ongoing business decisions
To develop various automated reports and MI Reports for the wider GSC
Preparation of the monthly cost management report and analyze the performance of each department cost by type
Prepare various ad hoc financial analyses as required from time to time to support ongoing business decisions

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Statistic/Banking/Mathematics or equivalent
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Resilient and durable, able to maintain momentum in the face of obstacles and setbacks
Able to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in an effective manner
Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and good time management skills
A proactive and effective team player
Fresh graduate is welcome
