THE POSITION

We’re searching for an enthusiastic independent Reservation Intern, who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and an international team.

As a Cluster Reservation Intern, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during your shift. You will oversee the bookings, monitor the business strategies, and communicate with other departments to ensure that guests have an enjoyable and comfortable experience within our hotels. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work well under pressure. If you are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

In the hotel, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As well as lunches and dinners for groups, for our staff canteen and we have two meeting rooms on the 1st floor. Our restaurant, Express Café & Bar Noord, is located on the ground floor of the hotel and has 60 covers. For our lunch and dinner menu, we work together with local suppliers from Amsterdam Noord. Job Requirements

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Record, monitor, and deal with booking changes (cancellations. transfers, etc.).
Formulate and implement reservation strategies for accommodations to maximize reservation potential and increase the competitive share.
Monitor the pricing & selling strategies.
Ensure proactive communication with other departments regarding the reservation’s strategy.
Understand the business mix and keep up to date with the hotels’ reservation strategy and promotions.

Being representative and guest-oriented.
Thinking out of the box to create unique experiences.
With a love for structuring a bit of chaos.
By being a great team player and having a proactive attitude.
Showing effective communication and interpersonal skills.

What You’ll Bring
Currently enrolled in an MBO/HBO degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a degree in another relevant field of study.
Affinity with hotels and hospitality.
Fluent in English, and preferably in Dutch.
EU/EEA national or enrolled in a Dutch institution as we cannot provide visas, permits, or sponsorships.
