JOB SUMMARY
The Head Bartender is responsible for all Bartender duties as well as the creation of cocktail lists, researching and sharing wine and cocktail trend knowledge with server and bartenders, monitoring of supplies and reporting needs to the F&B Supervisor. They can also be called upon to perform duties of greeting, serving and bussing.

YOUR ROLE
In addition to the Bartender duties, the Head Bartender is responsible for the creation of cocktail lists, researching and sharing wine and cocktail trend knowledge with server and bartenders, monitoring of supplies and reporting needs to the F&B Manager. They can also be called upon to perform duties of greeting, serving and bussing.
Set and stock the bar
Create cocktails
Prepare and serve food and beverages
Monitoring of supplies and reporting needs to the F&B Manager
Train new employees and foster a work environment that allows employees to achieve job fulfillment and encourage career development.
Create cocktails
Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations
Ensure that all equipment is stored in the correct manner, in line with all food and beverage/conference and banqueting requirements and health & safety legislation.
All other duties as required
YOUR PROFILE
Two years or more previous bartending experience
Familiar with POS systems
Excellent product knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
Problem solving skills
Able to work quickly and multi-task
Have an eye for detail and strong sense of urgency
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Able to stand for up to 5 hours at a time, lift/carry/push up to 50 lbs. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects
A second language an asset
