Under the supervision of the Bar Manager, the bartender is responsible for serving the guests of Bar Les Cousins, located inside the Hotel Escad at Quartier DIX30, and providing a pleasant experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up and stock the bar at the beginning of the shift and clean at the end of the shift.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation and organization of the bar-top, service areas.
Assist customers with food and beverage requests, take orders and collect payment.
Adhere to all alcohol laws and regulations.
Comply with all health and safety regulations as defined by hotel and government legislation.
Fill out daily paperwork such as inventory and cash falls.
Basic maintenance / cleaning of equipment.
Anticipate customer needs, respond quickly and recognize guests.
Other duties assigned by the manager.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

2 years and more of bartending experience in establishments with a beverage program.
Excellent knowledge of spirits, beer, wine and soft drinks, including preparation methods and toppings.
Professional, enthusiastic, energetic, excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to work and communicate well in a team and under pressure
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, bending, pushing and bending down
Able to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours.
