As the Head Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and service in our lodge. Your role goes beyond maintaining cleanliness; you will be a true ambassador of Angama Amboseli, upholding our brand values of Ubuntu, Respect, Honesty, Courage, and Joy in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
− As the Head Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and delighted throughout their stay
− Your ability to communicate effectively and anticipate business demands will be crucial in providing our guests with a seamless and memorable stay
− By documenting relevant information and promptly reporting maintenance issues, you will contribute to the efficient operation of our lodge
− Your exceptional leadership skills will inspire and motivate our housekeeping team to deliver their best. You will lead by example, setting high standards and empowering your team to achieve excellence
− Attention to detail is paramount, as you will ensure that every aspect of our lodge, from guest rooms to public areas, meets the highest standards of cleanliness and aesthetic appeal
− Our passion and commitment to guest delight will be evident in your prompt response to guest concerns and requests, creating a welcoming and personalized experience for each guest
− As an integral member of our lodge leadership team, you will liaise and develop excellent relationships with all relevant departments, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
− You will review and control the expenditure for the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and in line with the budget
− By supporting and delivering training to our team members, you will actively contribute to their professional development and the overall success of the department

Key qualifications:
− Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a high touch service environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards, team member management whilst delivering exceptional guest experiences.
− Degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration
