Scope
The Revenue Manager maximizes hotel room revenue through daily management of rooms inventory and product pricing for the hotel. The position is responsible for developing and recommending room rate and availability strategies to optimize the best mix of business for highest yield of ADR.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support The Rimrock Resort Hotel in Revenue Management decisions and ensure communication with the Revenue Management Team
Assist The Rimrock Resort Hotel in Revenue Management projects, such as Restaurant RM & Spa RM
Co-facilitate weekly RevMax (RevUP) meetings with The Rimrock Resort Hotel team
Generate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports as needed
Daily Monitoring of OTAs to avoid rate parity issues
Review and address Best Rate Guarantee (BRG) notifications
Review and adjust all rate code set ups for Corporate Campaigns
Liaise with Revenue Management team for consistency
Monitor any changes in inventory for the property and provide guidance on the impact on the current strategies.
Maximize room revenue contribution with a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory and rates therein
Continuous analysis of changing channel distribution models and the impact on consumer booking trends
Contribute to the set up and launching of new distribution channels so the hotel may be a leader in new OTA opportunities
Work with RM Team to determine effective and engaging rate offers or packages which are then distributed through the proper channels
Support the Director of Sales and Tour Manager during peak contracting season with reporting and presentations
Maintaining an open and efficient flow of information to and from all operating departments within the hotels
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Previous leadership experience in hospitality is required
Previous revenue management experience is an asset
Strategic thinking combined with the proven ability to move strategy to action are foremost attributes
Comfortable in discussion forums; able to represent ideas succinctly and convincingly
Proven experience in analysis and problem solving required
Team building skills and proven track record is essential
Self-study and independent work ethics are required
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints is crucial to the success of this individual
Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of automated systems e.g. Opera PMS/ORS, excel, Word, IDEAS G3, etc.
