You are part of the IT to Business Alignment unit of SWISS IT in the Passenger Service System area working as Solution Architect. With your passion for the airline business and people, you continuously develop your skills operating in a cross-functional and agile business context.

Tasks

You improve processes, find solutions for our Product Teams, and collaborate on developing the next era of digital travel. You engage stakeholders, discuss requirements, and create solution designs aligned with the Digital Hangar architecture.

Responsible for taking part in our digital product development, evaluating the current and developing new solutions as a joint effort with the Digital Hangar product teams
Provide technical guidance to product owners and make technical that contribute to the long-term IT goals of the company
Design solution architectures, evaluate the technical feasibility, lead discussions about design trade-offs, and drive conflict resolution
Contribute to the definition of our target architecture and oversee adherence to it
Work in an international environment with a highly diverse team

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Solution Architect experience
Proficiency in front-end and back-end software development
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker
Familiarity with Java (Spring, etc.) and JavaScript (Angular, React)
Skills in SQL and NoSQL databases
Ability to create architectural artifacts and diagrams
Proficient in BPMN, UML, and Documentation as Code
Experience in cross-functional, agile teams
Knowledge of Aviation IT and Amadeus Altea are a plus
Architecture certifications (TOGAF, iSAQB, etc.) are a plus
Excellent understanding of stakeholders’ needs and effective communication of technical solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
High dedication and commitment to delivering quality work
