Swiss WorldCargo is the air freight division of Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), offering a comprehensive range of logistics solutions for transporting any type of cargo including high-value and care-intensive consignments to some 130 destinations in over 84 countries.

Tasks

As Head of Cargo Sales Switzerland you lead, manage, motivate, and develop a result oriented and economical Sales Organization for Region Switzerland. You fulfil revenue, yield, and weight budget targets. You implement / transfer the national marketing and sales strategy.

Develop, maintain and manage a sound and revenue generation customer platform
Build a durable and dynamic relationship with top accounts
Exploit and acquire new business opportunities by gathering market and competition information
Secure a harmonized sales and services standard
Play a key role in acting as first point of contact to internal departments to secure a result oriented cooperation
Lead a team of up to 8 direct reports by defining quantitative and qualitative KPIs and coordinating the country sales plan
Keeps up regular relationship with the counterpart of the local Lufthansa Cargo sales departments in Switzerland
Participate in the development and introduction of special projects, products, and services.

Requirements

Degree in business administration or comparable higher education
Several years of experience in the field of logistics, sales or airline commercials
Ideally strong network in the Logistic Industry
Proven records of leadership & change management and project management experience
Strong conceptual capabilities, but also hands-on relationship and negotiation skills
Innovative mind-set paired with an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented spirit
Skillful communication across all levels and diplomatic skill
Very good spoken and written English skills, German skills are an advantage and any further languages
Willingness to travel, intercultural skills
