Job Introduction

As a Kitchen Porter at Swinton Barracks, Tidworth,

You’ll be one of the key catering staff, without you, we cant run our kitchens efficiently. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.

What You’ll Do

Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations
Work closely with the chefs and larger catering team, to ensure the running of kitchen and dining facilities is efficient and smooth
Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly, and report any faults to your line manager
Assist with deliveries, replenishing stock and its rotation
Waste disposal in a safe, thorough, timely manner

 

What You Bring

Basic food-handling knowledge
A good sense personal and environmental safety
Willing to learn new skills and gain experience whilst in the role
No previous work experience required

Package Description

37.5 hours per week
Any 5 days out of 7
Early shift- 08:00-16:00 Late shift 12:30-20:30 (you will be required to do a mixture of both shifts)
£10.68 per hour
Full uniform supplied
Full training provided
Annual leave April – April 20 days per calendar year which increases with service
