Description

We are looking for a Manager Group Controlling Operations to support the company financial processes including budgeting, planning and reporting.

For this role, you should hold a degree in Business Administration or Accounting followed by relevant work experience ideally within a corporate environment of a hospitality or travel company. Knowledge of forecasting models and cost accounting processes are key requirements for this position.

Ultimately, you will need to work with the business units to support decision making to sure they have the proper information for decision making. The role will also guarantee the financial 5-year-plan of the company and should be able to push forward the projects coming from all the different business areas.
Roles/Responsibilities

Analyse and report on current financial status.
Extensive interactions with business counterparts to align on needs, define initiatives, financial targets and KPI’s.
Driving business change readiness activities and liaison with business users for acceptance of deliverables.
Conduct thorough research of historical financial data.
Coordinate with the Group Controlling team and business units on long-term financial planning.
Provide ad hoc analysis of company performance, financial performance, costs and profitability in support of the strategic plan.
Analyse month end closing and identify areas of improvement.
Monitor and assist the responsible department in assessment of business performance and definition of approved business plans.
Establish key metrics, reports and tracking tools in line with defined initiatives & targets.
Competencies & skills requirements
Advanced knowledge in FP&A or business controlling
Strong problem-solving capabilities
Outstanding financial and analytical skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills and highly client oriented
Proactive, flexible and solution-oriented approach
Excellent ability to work collaboratively across functions and cultures in a global environment
Solid MS-Office knowledge, especially Excel and Power Point
SAP BPC knowledge is a plus
An open, positive and communicative personality
Personal integrity, with the initiative and the ability to work as part of a team in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
Hands-on attitude and passion for the travel / hospitality industry
Passion to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments
Additional requirements and qualifications

University degree (Bachelor or Master) preferably in business administration / Finance / Accounting
5+ years of relevant experience
Very good command of written and spoken English
