At Palladium Hotel Group we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa hotel.

 

Your main functions will be:

 

Update the vacancy listing on a weekly basis.
Contact and conduct interviews with suitable candidates.
Plan and organize job fairs.
Audit and update new hire files to ensure compliance with required documents.
Create and communicate check list for new hires.
Deliver contracts for signature to new hires.
Integrate documentation of new employees.
Coordinate with the Training Department for New Hire Orientation
Assist with the preparation of files for new hire orientation.
Perform vacancy counting and update the board.
Conduct preliminary screening of candidates over the phone.
Responsible for the correct integration of personnel files.
Follow-up to pending documents from candidates.
Conduct reference checks for all supervisory and management candidates.
Verify entries of new collaborators on their first day of work.
Create job advertisements for CaribbeanJobs, Facebook, Bizneo, LinkedIn, Newspapers and all other relevant media.
Recommend alternative sourcing methods to attract exceptional talent.
Research new trends in recruitment and share with the team.
Monitor the various platforms to review suitable job applications.
Provide supervision for the Recruitment team to achieve objectives accurately and efficiently.
Ensure the team keeps a clean and professional work environment at all times.
Liaise with HODs to understand their recruitment needs and translate them into strategies.
Encourage a culture of compliance with the recruitment process.
Recommend new strategies and also partnerships to improve talent attraction for the hotel.
Order resources needed for the talent acquisition operation.
Ensure stock of application forms and other recruitment items such as branded merchandise, table cloths, and tablets are maintained and kept in good order.
Ensure the talent survey is completed by every candidate interviewed.

 

 

If you consider yourself to be a good fit, you must contribute:

 

At least 3 years working as a Recruiter, 1 year being in the hospitality industry.
Have experience and knowledge of the entire recruitment cycle.
Knowledge in industrial relations, Informatics, administrative skills, interpersonal relationships, and use of social media platforms.
Knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus.
Fluent English.
