AC was founded in 1998 by Antonio Catalán. The portfolio currently comprises more than 200 hotels in Spain, Italy, France, Denmark, Portugal, Turkey and the USA.

MOXY Hotel Würzburg

MOXY Hotels is Marriott’s newest brand, opening its first hotel in Milan, Italy in 2014. Moxy is designed to capture the rapidly growing number of next-generation travelers. We combine stylish design, open-minded service, the latest technology and an affordable price. This is the new way of travelling!

THE POSITION:

For our AC & Moxy Hotel Würzburg, which was opened in November 2021 and October 2022 respectively, we are looking for a highly motivated
Cluster Night Manager (m/f/d) with a meaningful personality and hands-on mentality.

The AC Hotel Würzburg has 168 rooms with timeless interior design, 6 multifunctional conference rooms, restaurant/bar and terrace that invites you to linger and a well-equipped fitness center.

The MOXY Hotel Würzburg has 202 rooms, 2 boardrooms, fitness center and a well-stocked bar that ensures long nights.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Cluster Night Manager (f/m/d), you will be responsible for the creation of various reports and statistics in the night service in addition to the activities at check-in and check-out
A large part of your responsibilities will also include the day-end closing activities and the preparatory work for our accounting department
Accepting reservation requests (both by phone and from walk-in guests)
Independently managing shifts at night, as well as leading your team on the night shift
You will carry out regular security rounds to ensure that everything is calm and safe
You are the first point of contact for our guests
Conducting staff appraisals
Acting as a role model for our staff, as well as leading and motivating the team at night
Implementing and ensuring compliance with Marriott standards, as well as continuous professional training and development of staff and trainees
Efficient, transparent and close cooperation with all departments of the hotel
Responsibility and delegation of external room cleaning
Processing of all reservation requests, including all OTA and Wholesaler bookings
Inventory management
Complaint management
Organisational and planning skills
Sense of responsibility and decision-making ability
Ability to work under pressure and flexibility
Social and intercultural competence

Job requirements
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

You bring excellent hospitality qualities and are a representative of the hotel
Completed training in the hotel industry and several years of professional experience in a leading position at the front office
Proven experience in team leadership
You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
Strong sense for the different needs of our complex and demanding guests
Very good knowledge of MS Office, Opera knowledge is an advantage
A competent and engaging manner
