THE POSITION

Odyssey Hotel Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reservations Supervisor to join our Reservations department. As a Reservations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the reservations team, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that all reservations are processed accurately and efficiently.
Manage and supervise the reservations team, ensuring that all team members are trained and motivated to provide exceptional service to guests
Monitor and analyse reservation trends and data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to increase revenue
Ensure that all reservations are processed accurately and efficiently, and that all guest inquiries and requests are handled promptly and professionally
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all guest needs are met and that all operational procedures are followed
Provide regular reports and updates to the Operations Manager on the performance of the reservations team and any issues or concerns that arise

Job Requirements

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing the daily operations of the reservations team, ensuring that all bookings are handled efficiently and accurately.
Training and coaching team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
Monitoring reservation trends and making recommendations to improve processes and procedures.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Handling escalated customer issues and complaints.
Assisting with forecasting and budgeting for the reservations department.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.

What You’ll Bring
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hotel reservations role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera reservation systems.
Ability to manage and motivate a team of reservation agents.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
