Job Description
We currently have an unprecedented opportunity for a driven and passionate professional to join Minor Hotels at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat as a Sales and Marketing Manager.

This exciting position will see you responsible for cultivating strong and lasting professional connections locally and regionally, focusing on promoting and driving business for both Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat through new and existing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Actively seek out new business opportunities that will contribute to increased account production for MICE, food and beverage and spa and wellness
Implementing marketing strategies to drive increased awareness for Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat
Assist with the development of advertising collateral and social media content, working directly with the Marketing Department
Attend local and regional trade events to increase brand awareness of Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat
Work closely with the Cluster General Manager, Senior Leaders and Regional Tourism and Hospitality Bodies, ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed of key sales developments
Create, develop and implement all social media campaigns for Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will require the following skills, experience and qualifications:

3 years’ experience in a similar position
Previous sales or business development experience within the hospitality/ tourism industry will be highly regarded
Proven experience increasing sales and building business
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Superior attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
Professional presentation and work ethic
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff
Ability to build, maintain and seek new opportunities and partnerships within the local market
An infectious passion for delivering a memorable guest experience and creating loyalty of guests
