Job Description
We currently have an unprecedented and exciting opportunity for an experienced, dedicated and professional Day Spa Manager to lead our high performing team on a full-time basis at Elysia Wellness Retreat.

As the Day Spa Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Spa, whilst also creating a culture of care and service excellence amongst employees. In this position, you will draw on your experience, initiative and strategic thinking to ensure all staff members provide exceptional service to all Elysia Wellness Retreat guests.

You will be responsible for overseeing the management, development and training needs of the Day Spa Therapists and Spa Coordinators. You will also develop and implement Spa operational goals, policies and procedures, and lead short- and long-term strategic planning and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Overseeing guest services, ensuring that each experience exceeds guests’ expectations
Management, development and training of Elysia Day Spa Therapists and Spa Coordinators
Development and implementation of Spa operational goals, policies and procedures
Managing and scheduling all wellness activities
Prepare annual budget and business plan, ensuring Spa operation is adequately represented
Implement and monitor strategies to maximise operational revenue
Lead relevant sales and marketing activities, promoting spa programs and products
Recruit and train Spa employees in accordance with Elysia Wellness Retreats policies and procedures
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and experience:

Qualification in Beauty Therapy
Minimum 3 years Spa Management experience
Ability to manage, lead and motivate a team of likeminded spa & wellness professionals
Display innovative and creative thinking with current & progressive knowledge of the industry
Experience with treatment and program development and costings
Comprehensive understanding of business performance, operational costs and sales strategies to drive revenue and meet targets
Strong working knowledge of relevant software and systems
Experience within a Hotel/Resort Spa environment is preferred
Highly developed communication and relationship building skills which extend to all levels of the organisation.
