Laundry Attendant – Resort Laundry

Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a Laundry Attendant to join our team. The main duties of this role:

Report to duty on time in full uniform
Sign the attendance register, Time in and Time out
Load/ unload trolleys from the vehicle
Sort out soiled linen into different wash loads
Keep work area clean and tidy
Use correct operating procedure of all type of machine in the laundry
Keep the department and machinery clean at all time
Follow fire and safety procedure in the department
To attend the training carried out by the hotel management
Carry out other duties as directed / requested by laundry manager and team leader
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Successfully completed Secondary Education
1 years’ experience in a similar role
Good command of English (written and spoken)
Knowledgeable in Fabrics
Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Machineries
Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Chemicals
Knowledgeable in use of Laundry Spotting Chemicals
