Responsibilities

Ensures prompt, efficient and accurate service to all the customers to achieve high level of guest satisfaction.
Sets up and ensures maintenance of the outlets according to hotel standards.
Optimizes seating capacity by constantly monitoring reservation status and professionally allocating tables.
Works with Maitre D to determine menus and prices.
Monitors and controls quantities, costs and quality of supplies for the outlets.
Prepares capital and operational budget for the year.
Ensures guest histories are maintained and updated on a daily basis.
Ensures that outlets employees adhere to hotel policies and standards.
Proposes and participates in advertising, promotions and marketing efforts for the outlets.
Practices up-selling to increase average per cover and train his staff to do the same.
Proposes changes in policies and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service levels.
Conducts daily briefings to communicate necessary information.
Controls pilferage and breakage to cut down operational cost.
Ensures cost effectiveness of resources (material and staff) under his/her control to achieve optimum profitability.

Ensures all the staff in the department is fully trained through constant on-the-job training.
Responsible for setting procedures and training to ensure fast and courteous service
Ensures attendance on behavioral and vocational training programs, and personally conducts key training for employees in the outlets.
Recommends promotions and disciplinary action for subordinates
Assists in hiring.
Ensures career development plans and succession planning for subordinates.
Uses a specifically designed appraisal system to review the performance of his/her direct subordinates and determines their development needs.
Attends behavioral and vocational training in own and related work areas to enhance and develop multi-functionality.
Counsels subordinates in work-related matters.
To ensure the compliance of ISO 14001,ISO 22000 and OHSAS 18001 requirements
