Welcome to Four Seasons Hotel Milano, a legendary sanctuary within Milan’s Quadrilatero della Moda – the luxury fashion district.

Opened in 1993, the Hotel was the company’s second property in Europe. A 15th-century convent turned sophisticated garden retreat, the Hotel’s meticulous restoration subtly incorporates historic references into its timeless style. Fragments of frescoes, a beautiful emblem of the building’s sanctified past, create a meditative backdrop for relaxed elegant interiors with classic architectural flourishes.

The Role Of Laundry Attendant / Seamstress

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Laundry attendant Seamstress/Tailor to join our iconic Hotel, Four Seasons Milan in Italy!

This role reports into the Assistant Laundry Manager and will be responsible for: performs timely repairs on all items of uniform, linen and upholstery. Stitches new uniforms, items of linen and upholstery as per hotel specifications. Ensures that all linen and uniforms are repaired before issuing them to staffs. Measure, make or alter uniforms for new employees. Take care of basic alterations requested by guests. Inform the linen room supervisor for replenishing sewing supplies. Repair and maintain uniforms for all hotel employees. Convert discarded linen into usable items for re-circulation. Organize and take inventory of all fabric materials. Assume duties and tasks assigned by Superiors. Assumes responsibilities of linen/uniform room attendant whenever required. Attends behavioral and vocational training in own and related work areas to enhance skills and develop multi-functional. Keep a detailed record of the daily work. Keep the tailoring area clean and tidy. Shares his knowledge and skill with all departmental employees.

Responsibilities will include ensuring that Four Seasons standards are met.

Expertise in luxury hospitality operations and experience within Laundry Department focusing on service quality. We are looking for a special individual whom shares our passion for excellence and whom delights in the magic of curating special experiences and memories for our guests.

You will have excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, a passion for service and an exceptional eye for detail, an empathetic and caring approach, and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities.

You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian.
