The Role Of Demi Chef De Rang
The Demi Chef de Rang is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. This position supports the Chef de Rang with delivery of drinks and food from kitchen and completing guest requests, while conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
Responsibilities
Provide an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
Assist the Chef de Rang in taking orders and providing vivid descriptions of each F&B item.
Support the team with delivery of drinks and food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Greet and seat guests in a professional manner and take reservations conforming to Four Seasons standards.
Assist in setting and clearing tables neatly, rapidly and completely according to specification.
Support in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.
Our Ideal Demi Chef De Rang Will Have
A minimum of one year food service experience in a luxury environment.
Good interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
Flexibility, initiative and team work approach are required.
General food knowledge is required.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language.
Legal right to work in Italy.
