Job description
As a Sales Executive you are responsible to assist in leading the property’s segmented sales effort. Support and conducts all day-to-day activities related to the sales function assisting building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of Hotel Sales & revenue targets.
Work with Sales Manager and help implement the Hotel sales plan addressing revenue, guests’ needs and the market.
Analyse market information by using sales systems and create relevant reports and information dashboards.
Review sales and catering guest satisfaction results to identify areas of improvement.
work closely with the Revenue Department to ensure accurate, timely and complete information.
Assist the Senior Sales Manager in preparation of the annual Sales & Marketing plans, quarterly updates and the annual Budget.
Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and ensuring their satisfaction before and during their stay/event.
Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
Attend customer events, trade shows and sales missions to maintain, build or develop key relationships customers.
Regularly research of local press and internet in order to identify new sales leads.
Entertain clients at the hotel to build up strong business relations with them and to convert relation into more business materialization.
Conduct formal Hotel show arounds for prospective new accounts.
Prepare documents for RFP processes to secure new business in the Hotel.
Track Guest feedback and assist operational departments to come up with innovative solutions to resolve any Guest issues.
Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 1 year experience in Hotel Sales role in a Midscale or Upscale category hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging with teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented and a keen focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines and technical proficiency in related software preferable.
Knowledge of Hotel software’s such as Opera, Micros is an advantage, should have worked on contract executions and related clauses.
Knowledge of different languages is an advantage, however English speaking and writing skills are essential
Possessing a valid UAE driving license is desirable, as this role requires meeting prospective customers for sales efforts in UAE.
