For our location in Sofia we are looking for а Senior Agile Coach.
In this role, you will:
- Adopt and implement SAFe across the end-to-end Amadeus Cytric Solutions Business Domain as per the SAFe implementation roadmap
- Work using existing procedures or guidelines and provide inputs to support/influence area decisions. Make recommendations on new solutions and propose improvements by analyzing different sources of information
- Work with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager
Specific accountabilities:
- Deliver Lean-Agile coaching and training to relevant population
- Adopt and implement Lean-Agile practices across multiple business units
- Coach teams, ARTs and Individuals when needed, with a specific attention for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, RTEs, SAs & PMs
- Mentor the SM and RTEs on becoming a better facilitator and on focusing teams on completing tasks;
- Support and increase organizational agile maturity through transversal initiatives across geographies
- Facilitate learning through ad-hoc workshops, training sessions, innovative technics to maximize output
- Partner and run agility assessments and support the teams to implement the recommendations
- Mentor and guide multiple teams on a day-to-day basis
- Lead teams through first sprint planning, sprint execution & sprint review cycle(s) and guides, assist and mentor them in becoming self-sufficient in coordination with the Agile Facilitator if any
- Encourage and promote good engineering and quality practices
- Deliver SAFe and Agile trainings to Individuals, Agile teams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
- Support, advise and assist team members in the application of project management and Agile methods, tools, techniques, standards and processes
- Nice to have: Experience in using Jira & Confluence as an Agile Lifecycle Management tool, or similar tools
- Passionate about emerging trends in Agile and scaling frameworks
About the ideal candidate
- 3+ years of Agile roles experience; delivering on large scale and cross-functional organizations is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in technology (B2B SaaS preference) and/or travel
Specific knowledge:
- Animation and Facilitation: must be able to animate and facilitate discussion and alternatives or different approaches
- Encourage the flow of information and creativity between individuals and through the tribe
- Strategic Communication: ability to communicate on a long term strategic goal of an organization and/or to a dedicated global network assets to coordinate actions and activities of operationally significant sub-units
- Attitude of empowerment: must be able to encourage teams to self-organize
- Knowledgeable on current structure : must be aware to coordinate and anticipate potential issues as they arise, coordinating their solving with the teams[s] (even outside the Tribe) and elevate them to management if needed
- Priority Setting: ability to set the right priority to tasks, based on different criteria (Customer priority, Amadeus priority, feasibility, sizing & phasing)
- Influencer: able to persuade others to move toward his/her way of thinking, understanding and anticipating potential
- Consultancy Skills: ability to analyze client’s business or technology needs and recommends products, services or other solutions that can address those needs and barriers to doing so. Gains commitment of others, adopting a suitable approach and style for the target audience
- Decision Making: assesses and analyses situations accurately, grasping complexities and identifying key issues. Applies sound judgment in a timely manner, recognizing the consequences of actions
- Conflict Management: demonstrates capacities to handle conflicts within the tribe
- Knowledge Sharing: ability to exchange knowledge, information, skills, among people, being able to adapt to different audiences
Other:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and relationship building capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills and an affinity for detail
- Proactive, with an ability to take ownership over data projects and move them forward independently
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively, develop strong partnerships with all levels of employees
- Ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences — willing and able to be hands-on when needed
