£27,000 per annum + free meal on shift + expenses.

Car And Full Driving Licence Required.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Chef Manager to join our relief team working across the Midlands mainly but have 1 site in each of the following areas:
Lancashire
Lincolnshire
Bedfordshire
Suffolk

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Chef Manager to be responsible for all aspects of managing the high level of delivery and expectations across every site they work at. Ambitious and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business, you’ll maximise the performance of your team. Leading by example and setting high standards.

More About The Role
To provide management support for catering operations including running of site cater services when required
To support the operations team in ensuring that catering outlets consistently adhere to the company policies and procedures relating to the use of nominated suppliers, and carry out discussions and negotiations with suppliers, as requested
To promote the Eat Well Live Well concept within all units and during client and customer contact
Carry out checks and audits in the areas of food standards.
Support operations staff in the handover of new units, ensuring that all controls and systems are introduced
Support catering managers in all areas of their management of the catering establishment to ensure that the operational standards are maintained and developed
To ensure all aspects of the Catering Managers function is carried out whilst covering absences

Who you are:
Previous contract catering experience preferred
Previous chef background required with multi site catering or chef manager experience
Strong culinary experience
We are looking for a real foodie with a passion for innovation and driving food standards
Experience in a management role
Ability to communicate effectively to all internal and external stakeholders
Flexible in approach to their working hours and environment
Required to travel as part of the role
Self-motivated and ability to adapt to a changing environment
Understanding of Health, Safety and the Environment principles
Motivated by a passion for quality and, service delivery
Interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills
Computer literate
