Job Description For Commis 1
Our Commis is responsible for assisting kitchen operations and prepping food as required by the DCDP or CDP in delivering a top quality experience to our guests.
* Organize mise en place production, storage and service
* Carry out orders as required by the DCDP or CDP in a correct manner while being time efficient
* Responsible for completing the daily checklist regarding mise-en-place, food prep and food storage
* Prepare food and dry store requisitions, kitchen transfers in co-ordination with DCDP/CDP
* Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the hotel
* Prepares food prep as per SOP’s in areas pertaining to portion size, quantity and quality
* Prepare all mis-en-place for all relevant menus
* Checks and updates kitchen notice board regularly as per organizational requirements
* Reports maintenance issues on kitchen assets to the DCDP or CDP and takes responsibility to follow up till the the task is completed
* Completes handover tasks and information in the details to the next shift
* Duly fills all kitchen records such as checklists, temp sheets etc in the kitchen
QUALIFICATIONS:
– at least 2 years working in hospitality industry
– at least 2 years working experience in 3 or 4 star hotel
– Minimum of 2 years as Commis II
– Able to join immediately (preferably on cancelled or visit visa)
– Currently here in UAE
