THE POSITION

We’re searching for an enthusiastic independent Night Receptionist, who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and an international team. In the hotel, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As well as lunches and dinners for groups, for our staff canteen and we have two meeting rooms on the 1st floor. Our restaurant, Express Café & Bar Noord, is located on the ground floor of the hotel and has 60 covers. For our lunch and dinner menu, we work together with local suppliers from Amsterdam Noord. Your Key Responsibilities

As a Night Receptionist, at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – North Riverside, you will:
Check-in or check-out the guests during your shift.
Carry out, review, and update Reception procedures, as per hotel policy.
Carry out Duty Management shifts.
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
Support the Reception team, ensuring a smooth check-in/out process for all guests in line with brand standards.
Support Receptionists in preventing and handling complaints.
Being fully conversant with the facilities, services, and special promotions offered by the hotel.

Job Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
MBO/HBO or equivalent level of education
At least 1 year of experience within a similar role; experience in Holiday Inn Express hotels is an advantage.
Excellent organizational skills.
Really good knowledge of the English language is required; the Dutch language is a plus.
