We are now looking for an Area Director Marketing responsible for Central and Southern Europe

The Area Marketing Director is responsible to lead the implementation of the new marketing strategy in the markets under their responsibility, in alignment with global strategy. You will be also responsible for developing and orchestrating the execution of the annual marketing plans, with a direct impact on meeting the Area’s commercial and revenue goals.

Role

Contribute to the overall commercial strategy, performance, and profitability of the Area
Responsible for the go-to-market strategy at Area level
System contribution
Support execution of hotel and brand standards
Loyalty Management
Support new hotel openings
Support area leadership (AVP/RDs) in owner relations

 

Responsibilities

Transfer the global marketing strategy to a concrete Area marketing plan, in line with Area business needs and the overall CSO commercial plan
Lead and manage the area marketing and field activation teams within the region, and provide support, guidance and coaching to the de-centralized marketing hotels
Drive RHG awareness through the content and content distribution strategy.
Coordinate the implementation and localization of global marketing campaigns, programs, promotions, tactical offers
Collaborate across marketing disciplines to activate initiatives that boost direct system contribution for the area
Responsible for developing and leading a strategic Partner Marketing approach for the markets within responsibility
Work closely with the Brand team to ensure brands are properly represented in their Area & manage brand portfolio compliance
Work with Loyalty team to help achieve enrolment targets within the area, and help drive the overall success of the Radisson Rewards through area marketing initiative

 

Competencies & Skills Requirements

Minimum education: National academic qualifications
Minimum experience:10+ years of experience in reputed marketing Travel/Leisure/Entertainment/Consumer companies/Upper mid scale companies
Language skills: Very good command of written and spoken English
Proven experience in strategic non-traditional marketing position with similar roles
Experience in brand building and activation with limited budget and thought digital channels
Experience in partnership and media promotion
High exposure to technological environments where the e-commerce plays a vital role in the strategy deployment
Solid experience in management
Positive energy and capacity to motivate
Strong leadership, capacity to influence and manage stakeholders.
Strategic vision, capacity to anticipate trends.
Analytical thinking and financial rigor.
Success driven, high ambition.
Project management skills.
Transversal collaboration with Sales, Revenue, Finance and operations.
Capacity to contribute to build the company strategy together with the Executive Committee team.
