Job Description For Group Business Development Manager Yachting
As a Group Business Development Manager specializing in Yachting for a group of hotels, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and maximize revenue opportunities within the yachting industry. Your role will involve fostering relationships with yacht owners, operators, brokers, and other key stakeholders to expand the group’s presence in the yachting market.
Role and responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential target markets within the yachting industry. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Business Development:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for yachting services, including identifying potential clients, establishing partnerships, and expanding the group’s network of yacht owners and operators.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with yacht owners, operators, brokers, and other industry influencers. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the group’s yachting services and establish valuable connections.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns to drive yacht bookings and revenue. Identify cross-selling opportunities with other hotel services and amenities to maximize revenue potential.
Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with yacht owners, brokers, and service providers to secure favorable agreements. Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
Marketing and Branding:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing plans and promotional materials to raise awareness of the group’s yachting services. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the success of yachting initiatives. Prepare regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and revenue performance to present to senior management.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with internal departments such as operations, finance, and marketing to ensure seamless delivery of yachting services and align strategies with the overall business objectives of the group.
