Job Introduction

As a General Service Assistant at Sodexo in Sella Ness Lodge , you will play a vital role ensuring a hygienic environment within the site and supporting our catering units assisting with preparation and serving meals. You will be creating safe and welcome atmosphere for colleagues and clients. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:

Always maintain accommodation areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
Clean communal areas and kitchen
Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, polish floors, and replenish supplies.
Ensure laundry is done to high standard.
Assist with preparing and serving meals
Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and replenishment.

 

What You Bring

Exceptional customer service skills: a willingness to go above and beyond.
Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
Willing to learn new skills e.g., Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety
Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential, as long as you are willing to learn.
No previous work experience required.

Package Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Sella Ness Lodge at as General Service Assistant! This is an exciting opportunity to join us at beautiful Shetland Island!

Accommodation on Shetland Island whilst working and Transportation from Aberdeen is included.

Three weeks on shore, three weeks off-shore
Hours of working – 12 Hours per day- various shifts throughout 24hr clock
£11.63 per hour
Holiday pay included
Accommodation whilst working on island and transportation to island is included
