I will fully embrace, implement, safeguard and market the overall Wellness philosophy, concepts and programs such as Sleep With Six Senses, Eat With Six Senses and Grow With Six Senses platforms. All aspects of these wellness initiatives will be adopted and promoted throughout the sales and marketing functions.
Responsabilities
Working closely with the Group and Events Manager and Weddings Manager, promptly react to select incoming group and event enquiries as required.
Prepare and issue quotations and contracts as needed to support the Groups and Events Manager and Weddings Manager.
Ensure the booking system, including space held, commission, and customer information is in good order.
Manage the operational and logistical planning of all events and large bookings from the signed contract stage through to following up for client feedback upon completion of the event.
Preparation of BEOs for all large corporate groups and events, ensuring BEOs are delivered in a timely manner and with accurate information to all relevant departments.
Lead the weekly BEO meeting, taking charge of the agenda and talking points.
Regular communication with the F&B, reservations, front of house and operations teams to keep them updated regarding pre-orders and operational requirements/expectation for each event.
Verify VIPs daily arrivals to ensure accurate information is communicated with front of house teams.
Host pre-meetings with clients pre-event with Events Manager to introduce the operations team and coordinate last minute details.
Responsible post event to close PM accounts and ensure all events are paid on time and with correct payment details and amounts as contracted.
Proactively follow up with clients post event for feedback.
Skills And Experience
To execute the position of Events Coordinator, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, events, or related field and five years total experience in hospitality or hotels in the groups and events department or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
