Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Sales manager – Business Development will actively participate in the hotel’s recovery and numerous upcoming projects by developing relationships with our various corporate, association, and sports clients.
Responsibilities:
Promote and sell the hotel’s products and services to our current clients by soliciting new clients.
Organize site visits and familiarization tours
Represent the hotel, the Wyndham chain, and the Tidan group at trade shows, events, etc.
Identify potential client markets and qualify them
Achieve and exceed sales targets in line with our action plan
Respond to incoming requests for corporate, association, and sports markets.
Prepare proposals, contracts, etc.
Work with the Event Coordinator and make necessary arrangements to satisfy clients.
Maintain client records
All other related tasks
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
You are motivated and enjoy challenges.
You can manage your priorities and are organized.
You have a keen interest in sales and client management.
You have a professional attitude and enjoy developing relationships with different clients.
You are familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Opera, or another PMS.
Excellent command of French and English
Good knowledge of hotel services
You can manage unforeseen events and find solutions to meet client needs.
Education: College diploma in tourism or hospitality – an asset

Required Years of Experience:
1 to 2 years or more in sales and/or event coordination and/or in a tourism business.
