Responsibilities

The Breakfast Server at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Downtown Minneapolis is responsible for providing prompt, friendly, & accurate food service to our guests. This person will take food and beverage orders, serve food items to guests, and complete payment for guest orders. Responsibilities:

Greet guests and give a clear and correct description of food and beverage optionsDeliver hot to order items from kitchen to tablesInput orders into computer and secure accurate paymentPrepare coffee as well as other specialized drinksClear, clean, and reset tables for dining as neededObserve diners and respond to requestsComplete daily inventory prep sheetKnowledge and familiarity of current food and beverage offeringsEscort guests to tables as neededEnsure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures, i.e., product rotation, dating, labeling, and cleaningAssist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areasDemonstrate knowledge of hours and available amenities of the hotel

Requirements

Previous serving experience a plus, but will train the right fitHigh school diploma or general education degree or equivalentExceptional customer service skillsA can-do attitude and a hands-on approachA flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
