The Support Specialist is the first point of contact for support for all our partners, including restaurant operations teams and corporate office. The selected candidate will be assisting end users and troubleshooting company-supported systems and hardware with a focus on delivering genuine warmth and care while delivering timely resolutions.

Responsibilities

(Other duties may be assigned as required)
Provide preliminary triage and support for all technology systems and coordination of non-technology support issues with other departments
Work with senior technology team members on ticket escalation as required
Ensure timely recording, tracking, escalation and resolution of end-user technical problems and requirements received via telephone, e-mail, or support ticket
Record all calls in the Technology Ticket Management System as per escalation procedures and priority settings and assign to appropriate Technology staff member where necessary
Track hardware and software inventory
Assist in documenting and communicating user/technical service policies for products supported by the Support Team
Develop reference and training materials and provide end-user training
Support outside normal business hours as part of on call rotation for evenings, weekends and stat holidays

Requirements
Exceptional customer service skills with an ability to deliver genuine warmth and care while interacting in a professional and friendly manner with end users at all levels within the organization.
Previous restaurant/hospitality experience a major asset
Solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills coupled with a desire to learn
Highly organized, detailed and multi-task oriented, with the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work flexible, extended hours, as required
Experience with Micros RES or Simphony POS platforms an asset
Competence in the Microsoft Ecosystem (O365 including SharePoint, Teams, Azure, Server and Desktop OS) an asset
Knowledge of Apple OS X and iOS devices an asset
Familiarity with the Cisco Meraki platform an asset.
No previous technical experience required, but an interest in technology is important.
This role is Toronto based/hybrid role and will include on-site support for all GTA restaurant locations.
